On January 8, 2012, official announcement was made regarding the definitive postponement of Veronafiere's triennial international exhibition dedicated to earthmoving and construction machinery. The 2020 edition, scheduled for March 2021, will ultimately be held in March 2023; postponed precisely because of the Covid-19 emergency.

An unavoidable decision, but one that has been pondered and shared," explains Giovanni Mantovani, Director General of Veronafiere. "The scenario linked to the pandemic still offers few certainties and, therefore, in agreement with the manufacturers and Unacea, the reference association for the sector, we have identified a new positioning in line with the needs of the sector and the calendar of other specialised exhibitions in Europe. At the same time, aware of the importance for companies to have a live occasion where they can present their latest innovations to the Italian market, we have decided to organize a new dynamic event in autumn 2021". 

The event to which Giovanni Mantovani refers is a "demo in the quarry" organized from September 30 to October 2, 2021, with construction vehicles and equipment made available to operators from all over Italy. The purpose of the event is to bring together operators from all regions, and especially to encourage the participation of buyers from central and southern Italy.

Organized in conjunction with Marmomac, the most prestigious world fair dedicated to the chain of stone production, this demo will offer participants the opportunity to create synergies and collaborations between sectors.
